Which is better, Westfield Stratford or White City? ›

It does depend what you want to buy. White City has more upmarket/designer shops but Stratford has John Lewis. I agree with parkland in that Westfield in white city/shephards bush is easier to get to although I thought the one at Stratford was slightly bigger. The John Lewis at Stratford is a bit pants IMO though.

It depends on the weather. If it is raining or cold I would recommend Westfield. If the weather is OK or if you want more than chain stores I would choose Oxford Street so that you can explore the side streets and see a bit more of London.

Westfield London is the perfect place to be on a hot day in London. This huge shopping center offers a wide variety of shops, so you're sure to find something you love. Whether you're into fancy brands or more affordable options, there's a store for everyone.

I would recommend going during the weekday, as during the weekend (I went on a Sunday) shops can be crowded and due to the new covid protocols, there can be queues. The food is nice, although if you are visiting at peak times during the weekend, there is a bit of a wait!

The nearest tube stations are Wood Lane (a 3 minute walk) and White City (an 8 minute walk). If you're coming from Shepherd's Bush station, walk through Westfield Shopping Centre and follow signs for John Lewis and The Square (a 12 minute walk).
