Castle on the Sea (2024)

The Castle on the Sea is an island/castle that was introduced in Update 15.

Players can enter this castle by using the Portals on Hydra Island and The Mansion or going through the dock.

Location[]

The Castle on the Sea is located at the center of the Third Sea, it is near to Hydra Island and Port Town. From the docks of Hydra Island, (the nearest to the Arena Trainer and Training Dummy) you should be on the Boat Dealer's side. (regular Boat Dealer) You should go north from there, you'll arrive near the docks, but not exactly. but it is an efficient way to reach the Castle. You can also use Buddha/Light/Portal, etc.

Raids[]

Pirate Raid[]

Every hour and 15 minutes, a message will appear on the top of the screen and in the chat saying, "Pirates have been spotted approaching the castle!" Around 30 seconds later, another message will appear: "The pirates are raiding Castle on the Sea!".

A ton of pirates from the First Sea and Second Sea (Galley Pirates and Galley Captains also spawn) will start spawning. They will have higher levels than normal. A tanky enemy will spawn as the final enemy and has more HP than the other pirates, hence the name. Whoever deals the final blow to said NPC will get a fruit, and at the top of the screen it will say "You got a random Blox Fruit for dealing the final blow!". After every pirate is defeated, it will say in the chat and on the top of everyone's screen ""Great job! Whoever defeated at least 1 pirate has been rewarded a few Fragments." It will then give you 100 if you defeated at least one pirate.

If you fail to defeat them all in time, you won't get anything, and a message will appear on everyone's screen as well as the chat, saying "The pirates have stopped raiding." and you will have to wait another hour and 15 minutes for the next pirate raid to happen. (When they stop raiding, all the NPCs will despawn.)

Tip: After 3 pirate raids, put a timer on for 15 minutes, and a chalice will spawn in a chest. This is because a God's Chalice takes around 4 hours to spawn in a random chest, and 3 pirate raids take around 3 hours and 45 minutes, however, this only works if you are on a private server or a server that you joined when it was new.

Raids[]

Players can do raids in the Third Sea, and they can be found here. Just like the Second Sea, the Mysterious Scientist is also here for a player to buy/trade microchips. The raids are split into two types, advanced and normal. Advanced raids can be begun by doing their respective quests, and then paying a Blox Fruit worth more than 1,000,000 or instead, getting swindled for just 1,000. Normal raids can be attempted by simply paying any Blox Fruit or 100,000 once every 2 hours to the Mysterious Scientist.

Rip_Indra[]

In order to spawn Rip_Indra, you must:

1. Active the three Aura buttons. The buttons are found on the island and are activated by being stepped on. These buttons can be identified by looking at the button's lower base, colored with their respective Aura color. The colors are Winter Sky, Pure Red, and Snow White. You need the respective color for it to work, but you don't need your Aura to be on. It's recommended that you use Light, Portal, or get other people with the appropriate colors for each step on one button to minimize the amount of time spent traveling to switch Aura colors.
2. Talk to the Elite Hunter and take a quest from him to defeat an Elite Boss. who has a small chance to drop a God's Chalice. You can also find the Chalice in a random chest every so often, like the Fist of Darkness. Finally, there is a small chance of getting the chalice by praying to the The Gravestone Npc. The chalice will spawn in a random chest every 4 hours.
3. Return to the Castle on the Sea, and enter the building behind the Elite Hunter, find the pedestal, and put the God's Chalice there. The Raid Boss, Rip_Indra will spawn, and the entire map will become foggy. This will also change the island name from "Castle on the Sea" to "Battle of the Gods."

Portals[]

Inside the sub-castle of this island, head to the room on the far left with the Fighting Style sellers from the previous seas, then go to the end of the room. There are 2 portals. The left portal will teleport you to the portal in the mansion in Floating Turtle, and the right portal will teleport you to the portal in Hydra Island, located at the far left of the palace. In order to access these 2 portals, you must defeat the raid boss Rip_Indra, which will grant you access to the portals along with some other drops.

Trivia[]

• The largest thing that can be levitated in Control X is one of the towers in this location.
• This area has the most amount of passive NPCs, with a total of 21 NPCs.
